Vlerick Leuven Ghent Management School

Just some months ago I was very seriously considering pursuing my MBA at Ghent Management School. The school was highly international, ranked in the top100 at FT rankings and most of all, the best deal for around 17500 EUR. The school claimed that it was able to keep its fee so low because of the financial support from Benelux governments. This time, Dec 2008, it does not seem to be the case. The school's website was revamped, together the fee was substantially increased to 24500 EUR, by at least 7000 EUR . Although the school sounds more confident and shouts aloud about its triple star accreditations, the school still has lot of room to work on.

It is a good move that the school is looking forward to establish loans with no co-signatory. It is also cool that the school is offering scholarships. I have not registered myself for the online application, but it was interesting to see the PDF document possibility to apply to the school. All in all, the school is good looking but to compete with the best and brightest, there is still a long way to go.

By the way, at the school website there was an interesting report about living and working in Belgium...check it out here
